Careers at Charter

The majority of employees at our London office live locally, and work on sites in and around London and the south-east. Charter Security's regional office is located in Ashford Kent, with employees from all areas of Kent. Senior and managerial posts are generally recruited through agencies or advertised through newspapers, Security Officer applicants can use our online application form, although we recommend you ring before, to check for opportunities in your area.

Security Officers are employed on either full or part time contracts with pay scales dependent on assignment and job role, with a basic pay structure and performance related pay system for Security Officers. Annual leave is accrued on a monthly basis depending on average hours worked, all Security Officers working on average forty-eight hours per week, receive annually four weeks paid leave.

Applicants need to provide proof of identity, NI number or proof of application (passport or birth certificate) and produce up to 10 years of previous work experience and education depending on age. Basic job training is given to all new Security Officer employees under SITO guidelines.
